Instructions for Connection
Students who wish to bring their own device and connect it to the school's network, must follow the instructions below.
If a student does not agree to the Student Agreement Form, their device will be removed from the network

- Read the check-list below and ensure your chosen device is compatible.
- If you don't already have the required programs, you can download them here. After logging in, click the button in the top right that says "Install Office". If you want Adobe Programs (Photoshop etc.), follow this link.
- Pick up the Student Agreement Form, available at the library or download it here. Ensure you have read the guidelines available here or at the library. The forms should be handed in to the front office. If you do not get this form signed, your device will be removed from the network.
- Click Here and choose your device type to get instructions to connect to the WiFi.
Device Checklist
Wireless connectivity - Devices must support 5GHz dual band, 802.11 a/n/ac wireless so that they can connect to the school WiFi. Most modern devices support the 5GHz band, but ensure it does before purchasing a new device.
Battery life - Devices must last at least 5 hours without charge so that it can last the whole school day.
Storage and RAM - Devices must have a minimum 16 GB storage and 2GB RAM so that students have enough space to save their work and have a device that is fast to work with.
Operating system - Ideally devices should have the current version of any operating system (Eg. Windows 10) so the device can access the latest software/apps and updates. If this is not possible, a previous version of any operating system should be installed on devices.
Hardware features - Devices must have a camera and microphone to allow students to participate in 21st century learning. Students may also find a mouse and stylus helpful.
